AI Regulations for Manuscript Publication
Dear Authors,
In response to the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in research and writing, we are implementing the following policy and regulations to ensure the quality and integrity of publications in our journal.
This policy will take effect starting Volume 04, Number 01, 2025.
The Journal of Principles Management and Business (JPMB) recognizes the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and scholarly writing. This policy establishes guidelines for the responsible and transparent use of AI tools to maintain the quality, originality, and integrity of published research.
This policy takes effect beginning with Volume 04, Number 01, 2025.
1. Prohibition of AI-Generated Content
The use of AI tools to generate any part of a manuscript, including text, research results, analysis, or images, is prohibited. Manuscripts found to violate this policy may be rejected by the editorial team.
2. Permitted Use of AI Tools
Authors may use AI tools for limited purposes, such as grammar checking, language improvement, and copyediting. Such use must not replace the authors' intellectual contribution, critical analysis, or responsibility for the scholarly content of the manuscript.
3. Disclosure Requirement
Authors must transparently disclose any use of AI tools in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript. The disclosure should identify the AI tool used and explain the purpose and extent of its use.
4. Author Accountability
Authors bear full responsibility for the accuracy, originality, validity, and ethical integrity of their manuscripts. They must verify all information, references, data, and claims included in their work.
The use of AI tools does not exempt authors from responsibility for errors, misleading information, fabricated references, or other forms of academic misconduct.
5. Editorial Assessment
The editorial team reserves the right to assess compliance with this policy and request clarification from authors regarding the use of AI tools. Manuscripts that violate the journal's AI regulations may be returned for revision or rejected, depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation.
JPMB is committed to promoting responsible research practices, protecting academic integrity, and ensuring the credibility of scholarly publications.
