Submission Policies
The Journal of Principles Management and Business (JPMB) welcomes scholarly manuscripts that align with the journal's focus and scope. Authors must comply with the following policies when submitting manuscripts for consideration.
1. Online Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Submissions sent through other channels will not be processed as regular submissions unless otherwise instructed by the editorial team.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that all information entered into the submission system is accurate and complete.
2. Language Policy
JPMB prioritizes manuscripts written in English to support wider international readership and scholarly dissemination. Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare and submit their manuscripts in clear and academically appropriate English.
Manuscripts should be written in accordance with the language and formatting requirements specified in the journal's Author Guidelines.
3. Originality and Exclusive Submission
Submitted manuscripts must constitute original scholarly work and must not be under consideration by another journal simultaneously. Authors must disclose any related publications or manuscripts that substantially overlap with the submitted work.
4. Compliance with Author Guidelines
Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's Author Guidelines, including the required manuscript structure, formatting, citation style, and reference requirements.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal's requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before proceeding to the next stage of editorial assessment.
5. Authorship and Author Approval
All listed authors must have made appropriate scholarly contributions to the manuscript and must approve the final version submitted to JPMB. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors agree to the submission and that the author information provided is accurate.
6. Research Integrity and Ethical Compliance
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts comply with applicable research ethics and publication integrity standards. Relevant ethical approval, informed consent, funding information, and conflicts of interest must be disclosed where applicable, in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics policy.
7. Plagiarism Screening
All submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism screening in accordance with the journal's Plagiarism Policy. The journal uses Turnitin to assess textual similarity. The similarity report is evaluated by the editorial team, and the similarity index alone does not determine whether plagiarism has occurred.
8. Editorial Assessment and Peer Review
Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to evaluate their relevance to the journal's focus and scope, completeness, scholarly quality, and compliance with submission requirements.
Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment may proceed to the journal's double-blind peer-review process, in accordance with the Peer Review Policy. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
9. Submission Requirements
Authors must provide the information requested in the OJS submission system and ensure that the submitted manuscript is complete and ready for editorial assessment. JPMB does not require separate mandatory originality declarations or conflict-of-interest forms at the submission stage. Any relevant disclosures must still be included in the manuscript or provided when requested by the editorial team.
By submitting a manuscript to JPMB, authors acknowledge that they have read and agree to comply with the journal's applicable policies and guidelines.
